Custom Vans Australia was formed in 2022, introducing the NSW State Van Titles and Custom Street Machine Show in 2023 and again in 2024, after the want for a NSW State based event was longed for by Vanners!

One of the main goals for the NSW State Van Titles and Custom Street Machine Show was to create and utilise a transparent, fair and honest judging system. This was to coincide with the biggest aim of the movement and that was to put traditional show vans back in the spotlight, where they belong.

Our judging system was composed to provide a level playing field for ALL vans, based purely on the van itself and results drawn from a straightforward points-based system that rewarded customisation and imagination. All of our judges are selected from those that have worked or still work in an industry that specialises in the area they are judging, that way you are guaranteed an honest and fair result on the day.

Custom Vans Australia and its associated events are run wholly and solely by a down to earth, true car chick who has a shed full of custom V8 Holdens and has been instrumental and hands on in the build of a number of cars and vans at home, over the last decade … She not only has a huge passion for event management but also fell in love with the van scene over a decade ago and has wanted to give back, ever since which led her to VANFEST.

We are proud to announce that in 2026, we have raised the bar even more and are aiming to host THE BIGGEST INDOOR VAN SHOW that Australia has ever seen. A completely indoor event at the famous Tamworth Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre (TRECC) which should see one hundred, or more vans inside on display.
